These bathrooms, located in Chesterfield, were a dreary medley of browns, beiges and faux 80's finishes. What we needed to do was create efficient, functional bathrooms, while also ushering it into the 21st century with modern accents. In the Master Bath we eliminated a small hall closet in order to double the size of the shower, which was converted into a spacious, easily accessible walk in. In order to add some character, the ceiling in the shower and above the bath were barrel vaulted. A luxury, supple vinyl was installed on the floor for comfort, and grab bars were strategically placed to ensure security, convenience, and easy mobility. We replaced the large outdated vanity mirror with two French door functioning medicine cabinets with integrated outlets. An elegant mosaic marble was installed behind the vanity, and the cabinet doors were replaced with four deep drawers, supplying a plethora of easily reachable storage. Modern, matte black plumbing fixtures and hardware were installed in both bathrooms, to provide cohesion. In the Guest Bathroom, we retained the existing layout, but updated the fixtures and finishes to refresh the space, staying true to the style of the home.

"Chelsea of Chelsea Design Company redesigned my master and guest bathrooms at the same time. I have never experienced such a worry free remodel. I have lived in my home for 35 years and we expanded the shower with new everything - cabinets, flooring, sinks, mirrors, toilets, tubs, and tile. Chelsea is a complete professional, knowledgeable, and creative. She has an eye for what works and what does not. What I thought was especially grand was her desire to get to know us and our lifestyle to create what we like and a bathroom that was beautiful, yet highly practical to serve our needs best."
