Social Media & Interior Design Assistant
Christopher Amburn grew up in St. Louis' West County area. “My grandfather and father both were in construction. As a child, I got to see my family create new homes for other people and it really inspired me.”
Chelsea and Christopher first crossed paths during his senior year at Lafayette High School during a presentation Chelsea was giving about interior design. After graduation in 2017, he pursued a Bachelors of Science in Housing & Interior Design from Missouri State University. They met pre-pandemic about an internship opportunity. Christopher started in July as a design assistant where he worked closely with Chelsea to assist with most every aspect of the design process. "Christopher is not only an absolute joy to be around, but he mirrors my organization level, which is difficult to do. I appreciate his passion to learn, attention to detail, and overall efficiency," says Chelsea.
Christopher is in route to graduate in May 2021 and will join Chelsea Design Company full time after graduation. Christopher has been with the company since July of 2020.

Interior Design Assistant & Lighting Specialist
At a young age Anna remembers her father regularly working on projects to upgrade their family home. "I loved to watch the process and the transformation! As a child, I was frequently found rearranging my bedroom furniture to create different layouts," marking this as an early sign of her interest for interior design. Anna's love for interior design grew after taking an interior design class in high school. She soon received her Associates degree in Applied Science in Interior Design from St. Louis Community College in 2019.
Anna worked at Wilson Lighting in Clayton for two and a half years, where she gained specialized knowledge in lighting, and worked directly with clients and designers. During that time she created a connection with Chelsea and reached out about a chance to pursue the next steps of her design career. "I knew her portfolio, work experience, and etiquette were outstanding, so I skipped the typical meeting and got to know Anna on a more personal level during a hike at Castlewood. I knew by the end of that hike that she would be a perfect person to mold and grow with the company long term."
Anna is currently a senior at Maryville University of St. Louis and is set to graduate in May of 2021 with her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Interior Design. Anna has been with Chelsea Design Company since September 2020 and will begin full time after graduation.
